Tyneside Irish Centre
The nearest bus stop, St James (2 minutes walk from venue), is located on several local bus routes. Please see the Nexus Bus website for details.
Nearest stations are St James (2 minutes walk from venue) and Monument (7 minutes walk). All Metro stations are accessible by level access, ramps or lifts. Please see the Nexus Metro accessibility and safety webpage for details.
There is no free parking available near the venue. The nearest car parks are the Gate Car Part and Q-Park, Stowell Street, which you will have to pay for. There is, however, space outside the venue for drop-offs and pick-ups.
The entrance to the Tyneside Irish Centre is on St Andrews Street right next to the Chinatown gates.
The entrance has a ramp and is wheelchair accessible.
PUG takes place in the Concert Room which is on the first floor. There is step free access to this room via a lift which is wheelchair accessible.
There is an accessible toilet on this floor.
All seating is cabaret style and on one level. If you require seating near the front please contact Rosa at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will reserve you a seat.
Working dogs welcome.
PUG tickets are priced at Pay What You Decide.
At the moment all PUG events are for adults aged 18+.
When you arrive at PUG you will be given an envelope in which you can anonymously pay an amount of your choice for your ticket. Please leave this at the front desk during or after the show.
BSL Interpretation and Audio Description
We apologise for not providing BSL Interpretation and Audio Description for performances. We will be applying for funding towards this in the future.
We will provide warnings of common trauma and seizure triggers on our Up Next and Social Media event pages, these include images, sounds and descriptions of violence and warfare, sexual content, smoke, strobes and sudden loud noises.
