queen mojo spreads her legs- glister glimmer gloss
for the pleasure of, hers, theirs, yours.

tactically tacky and decidedly decadent, queen mojo uses femme-femme and celebration as a
tool of destruction
because * patriarchy *
glister glimmer gloss: it’s a tactically tacky multi-coloured spectacle provoked for
the pleasure of, hers, theirs, yours.
queen mojo we hear them cry, all hail queen mojo all hail
who cries? Female to the front!

Moa Johansson is a performance maker based in London. In 2016 she gave birth to queen mojo; a persona project rooted in a queer feminist exploration. Since, queen mojo has presented herself at various venues and festivals extensively across the UK and internationally, most recently Thorny (Bristol), KopfMensch & ÜberMeier im Palas (Berlin) and Duckie (London). With empowered femininity, queen mojo uses celebration as tools to dismantle a power structure coded as male; it’s a royal feast of tactically tackiness and pure decadence. queen mojo shouts: femmes to the front!
