Wank Buddies: The Lipsync

Jake Jarratt and Cameron Sharp

A night out on the town like no other as two lads, one gay and one straight, come together for a conversation in the smoking area, a cry in the toilets, or a cheeky boogie on the dance floor. In a medley of night out anthems, box-steps, cheap drinks, and sprays of Lynx Africa, Jake and Cameron will delve into themes of masculinity in its most natural habitat – the night out!

Jake and Cameron were awarded the Live Theatre Bursary 2019 to create their debut show together, Wank Buddies, which explored sexuality, masculinity, identity, and how we express ourselves when we can’t put our finger on what we are feeling. This successfully debuted at Live Theatre’s Elevator Festival in March 2019 and they now bring Wank Buddies: The Lipsync to PUG – taking similar themes and exploring them in a cabaret, lip syncing form.

Wank Buddies: The Lipsync was part of PUG#7 at GIFT Festival Caedmon Hall 4 May 2019.
